I was traveling through town with an engine that was acting up. With my 3 year old in tow and stormy weather ahead I was very nervous. A moat friendly and caring staff (name Emerson maybe?) Ran diagnostics and identified the issue with no charge - he put my mind at ease that I could complete my travel without issue and get my car fixed in my hometown. I left some gifts of gratitude and will definitely return for any needs next time I'm in town! Honesty and integrity - the recipe for a great business!

We just replaced our engine in our truck in Canada. We had a couple of little problems but got them aborted out so we thought. We took our truck on its maiden voyage and it ran great until it didn't. We were200+ mile away from home when we got engine lite warnings. Far from home and our garage we googled shops that work on diesel trucks and I looked at the reviews of Silverlake automotive and they were great reviews. I called and talked to Ryan and he said if I could get it there he would have a look that day, squeeze it in. We he did but unfortunately the truck needed some repairs so he got at it. We had to return to Canada and left the truck in his capable hands. He got the parts in and had it repaired quickly but I couldn't get back until a week later. The Truck was taken care of until we got back. His personal service and the work of the mechanics was exceptional. He kept in touch with us and let us know what was happening and he also consulted with our mechanic up here in Canada and kept him informed also. I can't thank him and his team enough, we didn't have to stress and the service was outstanding. Thanks Ryan and your team, it made a bad situation bearable. Reasonable prices and very honest and helpful. I asked Ryan to do a compression test on my truck when I had a misfire. He/his crew not only solved the issue, but went through the entire the truck and let me know what work needed to be done without trying to sell me on anything I could manage myself. I will definitely be a return customer.
