I needed to see someone on short notice while I was driving across the state. My AC was not blowing out cold air in the midst of it being 90 degree weather. I called about 25 auto shops in the area and no one was able to accept a walk in or look and see what was going on. Rex squeezed me in his busy schedule to atleast take a look at what was going on and it ended up being such a simple fix. He saved me so much time and hassle and was honest from the beginning which goes a huge way! I will continue to come here for services. Thank you so much!

I 10/10 recommend these guys for all your auto needs. They are honest, transparent, and hold authentic empathy towards their customers. I recently had my car break down and was very stressed about the cost, they ran a diagnostic and it turns out that my engine is failing. Emerson, who has been AMAZING, called Hyundai to find out other alternatives and found out that my car is still under warrantee, meaning I will save a TON of money. So, so, so thankful that honest and humane mechanics still exist. Being a small business owner, this could have wrecked me but instead things are looking up. Definitely give these guys a call, you will be so glad you did. It is so rare to find mechanics that value humans over a paycheck. <3 <3 <3 Beyond grateful.

Emerson was great! Was on a road-trip from Colorado to Washington and my engine started overheating. Took it I’m not expecting much, but the shop was able to diagnose the issue quickly (turned out to be a faulty thermostat), order the part, work with Midas who had warranties the item/work previously, and it was done in less than 24 hours!

Transmission diagnostic. Very friendly and we’re willing to look at it on the same day. I take all my vehicles to Silverlake Auto!

I’ve been a repeat customer of Silverlake Automotive on Sherman Avenue in downtown Coeur d’ Alene since I arrived in Idaho 8 years ago. The customer service and service department is outstanding. They are all very friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. They’re super easy to do business with. They are fast, thorough and very affordable. They are always available to answer all my automotive related questions and they really seem to go the extra mile for me. I couldn’t imagine doing business with any other automotive service department.
