These people were able to find and fix things that SO many others failed to even diagnose, even when there was a clear problem somewhere. Straight to the point and respectful, I can't find a bad thing to say about them. The whole family uses them (5 vehicles total) highly recommend this place.

I was on a trip from Chicago to Seattle and my car broke down just as I was pulling into town on a holiday weekend (so no one was open until Tuesday). When they opened I stopped by and explained what happened. They were completely booked up with appointments, but said they'd get me in whenever they had some extra time. By noon my car was fixed and I was on my way! They fixed my power steering (which I just had repaired before I left, so much for that!) and identified some other non-safety issues that I should get repaired soon, but they didn't upsell me or pressure me at all to get it done right then. The charges were reasonable and right on what they quoted. I made it to my destination safe and sound only a day later than I had planned thanks to these guys. If I ever break down in CDA again, I'm heading straight to The Dealer Alternative!

We are on a long trip and we were far from home when our car started to make a not so great sound. We went to the dealer alternative based purely on the reviews on google, and we were not disappointed. They took us in first thing in the morning, no appointment was made. They weren't cheap but they fixed our car quickly and gave us a loaner car so we could get around. Highly recommend

Great to work with. Some miscommunication on what I wanted my custom exhaust to look like. They handled it very well and corrected to my satisfaction without question or additional costs. They came to me highly recommend as an honest repair shop. I was very pleased with cost and value for my money as well as the end results.

Convenient location, affordable, honest and personal auto mechanics. They have helped me out several times and I prefer their service to the dealer service. Easy to schedule appointments and they even let me use a loaner car free of charge while my car was getting fixed. I highly recommend this Mechanic Shop.
